Between January and June 2008, I wrote a blog which describes my intensive experience of coming to know the life and work of great Aussie Rocker Bon Scott. The blog is here: http://bonscottblog.com

At the beginning of the project, I was not a fan of AC/DC. Through meeting fans, visiting cemeteries, chasing up Bon’s old friends and lovers, attending concerts, and listening to a lot of heavy rock, I became one.

The Bon Scott Blog was part of the Bon Scott Project, organised by the Fremantle Arts Centre. There was an exhibition at the FAC in May-June 2008, curated by Jasmin Stephens.

The above image shows me with Stevo and Veronica, passionate Bon Scott fans from Perth, at the installation I set up at the Fremantle Arts Centre. It’s hard to see in the photo, but I am wearing my custom-made Bon Scott black tie – it’s just hiding behind my can of Jim Beam.
